Is the Odacite Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate Worth it?

Is the Odacite Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate Worth it?

Odacite is a California-based skincare brand whose pride lies in its blend of raw nature and clinical actives formulated into effective skincare products with proven results. Odacite skincare merges the healing properties of plants in nature into skincare, thoroughly backed up by extensive research and testing.

Odacite has a medium selection of products ranging from serums like retinol and vitamin C to sunscreen and oil. However, we will be diving into their Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate.

This serum concentrate is fueled by wild carrots, a rare oil valued as a beauty potion of French queens, known to “donner bonne mine” (give a fresh, rosy glow). It is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E, both vital for healthy, plump-looking skin.

During a promotion sale, I received Odacite CaR Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate as a gift from Cult Beauty.

Will it live up to its claims? Let’s find out!

Description

This concentrate comes in a small dark glass bottle with a bent-tip dropper. Its packaging is simple and relatively minimalistic as it fits just right into my skincare collection. Although this product is only 5mL(0.17oz), it lasts longer than you’d think.

Additionally, it has a fresh, earthy, herbaceous smell that is almost therapeutic when applied to the skin. There is no added artificial fragrance in this oil concentrate. I would describe the texture to be a silky smooth, lightweight, oil with a natural golden-yellow color.

Odacite CaR Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate Claims

This product vouches a ‘fresh rosy glow’ for dull skin. It targets the first signs of aging attributed to the presence of antioxidants such as Vitamin C, Baro-carotene, and Vitamin E in Wild Carrot seed oil. Odacite Wild Carrot Seed Oil is cold-pressed and virgin-extracted, preserving the maximum nutrient-dense extract necessary for a healthy-looking glow.

How to Use Odacite CaR Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate

Use 2-3 drops in the last step of your skincare routine or before your sunscreen. Warm drops of the concentrate in your hands and massage gently into clean skin. Alternatively, you can boost your moisturizer by adding a few drops to your daily dose. It is recommended for use during the morning and night.

My Personal Experience

Is this product worth your coins?

Upon receiving the Odacite CaR Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate, I hesitated to use it. This was because oils weren’t a consistent part of my routine. I’d usually settle for thicker moisturizers at night. I was also trying out Cultured Biomecare Oil so it took a little longer to incorporate it into my routine.

I used this product for the first time at night after my moisturizer, not expecting much. To my surprise, it was undeniable how much glow it offered. This oil sinks into the skin with no uncomfortable heavy feeling that other oils may be attributed to. The next morning, I woke up to glowing and plump-looking skin.

Ever since, I have finished two bottles of this product. I apply this product how it is advised. I apply two drops on the tips of my fingers, warm it up, and gently press it into my skin. It is noteworthy that two drops go a long way during application.

Truly, I have noticed a remarkable difference in my skin. The fresh glow it offers cannot be overlooked. My skin has looked plump and healthy since I incorporated this product. I also noticed some brightening, although I was using niacinamide in my routine as well. I’ve had no adverse reactions to my skin while using this product, and it pairs well with the other products in my routine.
